Hi, I’m Nykole, and I’ve been spiritually inclined for as long as I can remember. But here’s the thing—being spiritual didn’t bring the healing I expected. In fact, it did the opposite. It gave me a false sense of pride, one that conformed to my conditioning and fed into my super-sensitivity.

As a Holistic Health Practitioner, practicing energy work, somatic coaching, and intuitive counsel since 1999, I used my psychic empathy to prove myself worthy. While it certainly helped my clients, there was too much ego involved for it to be healthy for me. I found myself caught in an endless cycle of highs and lows, using my sensitivity not just to heal, but to please others—leaving nothing for me except a bottle of wine, and an ever-growing sense of emptiness inside. Dangerous, yes. 

Ground 2 Crown is more than a brand name—it’s an invitation to become an active participant in your OWN embodied spiritual journey. It’s about focusing your energy; rooting down to uncover your intentions, rising up to meet the guidance available to you, and making whatever you do—or don’t do—with it your own expression.

Being a spiritual woman has massive advantages. We’re a determined bunch, seeking to align with the power we know is available to us. Add being a middle-aged mother into the mix, and there’s no stopping our commitment to the inner work and embodiment piece that transforms our health, relationships, and family patterns. We just need to remember that up and out doesn't work without going down and in too.

When I became a mom, I realized that when I wasn’t channeling energy for others, I didn’t feel grounded. I had always pushed down guilt and shame, but when it all blew up, it was no longer fair—to me or my family. I was at a loss when the teachings and tools I’d gathered over decades—through programs, certifications, Priestess Initiations, and Shamanic Practitioner Trainings—weren’t providing the relief I needed. I found myself drowning in feelings of loneliness—even with such sweetness in my life. Teaching yoga and leading rituals kept me busy and eased the pain, but I now understand that feeling separated from my soul distorted my ability to really know and live love.

Though I’ve been a passionate student of astrology since my teenage years, when I skipped school to read Linda Goodman’s Love Signs, I became academically committed to it in 2019. Since then, I’ve studied with various master teachers to blend modern and traditional styles. Just as I turned to the stars to save my ass once more, what I truly needed showed up at the same time—a group coaching program for those of us unknowing experts in spiritually bypassing childhood trauma and unprocessed grief, as well as our very subtle forms of  control. 











 

In this ongoing program, ground-level shadow work and family untangling practices took me on a deep dive through the underworld and back out again, which I tracked through astrology for myself and the women in my circle. In the process, I discovered the true power of an embodied Ground 2 Crown style of spirituality—one that can heal all but cannot be rushed or accessed without a guide who is willing to courageously and compassionately meet us in our blind spots. Reconnecting with my soul to be this guide for women committed to connecting with theirs pops me into gratitude.

My journey of healing the mother wound, career wound, ADHD, empathic-person struggles, addiction, power-over family dynamics, and codependency required me to choose the middle path, where heart-centered neutrality became the just-right place for me to center. This shift lifted the pressure of trying to be spiritual or have spiritual experiences, allowing me to find a more intentional and effortless flow on my spiritual path—from Ground 2 Crown in an everyday way.

This humbling process of nurturing my inner child and re-raising myself, alongside my two homeschooled tween and teenage sons (who, in their ability to self-express, seem lightyears ahead of me), has shown me once again that the energy of total transformation and ancestral healing promised by my astrology chart is alive and well.

Standing as a clear, confident channel, committed to intuition in action—on both of our parts—for the highest good of all involved still feels fresh for me, even though I know I was born for it. Acquiring the soul-connected capacity to show up as a high-vibe translator for our souls' and guides' messages has been my dream since my first shamanic circle at fourteen, when I knew that my presence as a psychic, empathic, and self-expressed witness mattered in the world.





 

Purpose doesn’t have to be a distant, high-reaching ideal. It’s something accessible and ever-evolving, understood through a step-by-step approach that clears the way for manageable, magical tasks. These acknowledge the whole point of the human experience—where every moment holds meaning, even in its smallest actions.
