For twenty-five years, I’ve worked with clients as a bodyworker and healer—tapping into body wisdom through emotional processing, shamanic clearing, somatic unwinding, and chakra balancing.

But my great love—astrology—became the missing piece in embodying a sense of clear, calm confidence within myself, for myself.

I trained extensively in somatic and energy-based healing, becoming an Initiated Temple Priestess, a Certified Craniosacral Therapist, an attuned Reiki Practitioner, a Registered Yoga Instructor, and a Licensed Holistic Health Practitioner. Now I'm certain, healing doesn’t happen in isolation, but when people feel safe, seen, and supported.

This is as I was promised in my Relational Somatics training program, where I discovered that my broken neck came from inner pressure, as much as from a snowboarding accident.

I’ve always been drawn to tracking patterns, reading maps, and sensing energy shifts—but until I created space through untangling, I didn’t fully grasp that astrology is a tool for repairing feelings of brokenness and disconnectedness.

My reactivity as a wife and mom made it clear—if I couldn’t face my control issues for myself, I would for them.

I set aside my rebel-for-any-cause attitude and joined The Untangling Project, where, for five years, I engaged in shamanic frameworks, tools, and solutions to heal my relationship dynamics while tracking them through my astrology chart and chakra system.

When I stepped beyond the veil of success I had built as a healer, I saw the truth:

I had been resisting co-creation because of how I was raised.
I feared that a soul-centered paradigm would strip me of the free will I had come to fiercely protect.
Even though I had always loved astrology, I hadn’t yet made space to relate to it in a way beyond control and co-dependency. 

I re-raised my inner child alongside my two sons—not just mentally, but somatically and spiritually—allowing my foundations to shift and my skillsets to expand. I developed compassion for the girl who swung between helpless victim and fierce warrior, wielding autonomy as a battle cry while secretly fearing that true guidance meant surrendering her authority.

This was the magic that healed the relationship to my soul—and rippled out to heal all my relations.

Some call this awakening.

I call it grounding into the knowing that this Earth place is a safe place to be manifest. 

No longer afraid that being guided would stop me from being grounded.
No longer afraid that relating with my soul would compromise my autonomy. 

As my trust deepened, so did my relationship with astrology—no longer burdened by my biggest fears and projections of being boxed in or bossed around.

In fact, it went against everything I was taught—even though we were the ones hosting tarot teachers, astrology workshops, and shamanic circles in our teepee on Aspen’s Roaring Fork River.

There’s no one right way to do anything, and diversity is to be fully celebrated!

Finally—astrology confirmed what I had come to know deep in my bones: My soul had been cheering on the personal desires and creative expressions I had been, like a good girl, pushing down all along.

Now, astrology wasn’t just something I studied—it became something that lived inside of me. A source of elevation, a co-creative tool, an open dialogue between my mind, body, soul, and the cosmos.

Then it was revealed—when you embody your soul guidance, there’s nothing to rebel against.

This could be called enlightenment. I call it trusting that this Universe is a safe place to be manifest. 

After a decade of professionally reading charts, I began applying Evolutionary Astrology as taught by Maurice Fernandez in the Professional Mastery Track.

My path to clarity was anything but immediate.

I grew up with so much psychic noise that I stopped hearing my soul and felt like I lost control. I wanted the cosmos to show me the way—but answers weren't immediately in the stars.

They were in my body first.

In this two year program I learned that I was 100% right, astrology is meant to be used as a ground-up process where it helps us courageously grow by:

Claiming our wants.
Sorting through our blocks.
Resting in our hearts.
Taking inspired actions.
Expecting answers that are aligned with our very next best steps.
Attuning to our body wisdom and intuition to feel into where it fits.

I plant my feet on the ground and open my crown, embracing practical mysticism—
because it’s what keeps me both grounded and guided in my own expression, even as a psychic empath who easily feels what others want and need—two things that, through a soul-level conversation, often reveal their similarity.

Astrology doesn’t give us control—it helps us work with what’s unfolding, so we can learn our lessons with greater ease and speed—invaluable for me as I’ve circled back and moved through skipped steps, building a foundation on which I now stand, crowned and connected, inside and out.
